Sometimes not doing the things we ‘should’ is actually a way of honoring ourselves and giving ourselves grace.
When you don’t have the energy, you need your space or whatever the reason that you just aren’t feeling it, when you decide not to the thing you ‘should’, recognize that this is you honoring yourself. You are giving yourself grace.
How can we collectively be kinder to ourselves and others through this busy season and ultimately year-round? Grace.
Grace for yourself and grace for others.

How can you show yourself more grace in your daily routine?
1) In the morning when you are setting your intentions for the day and you are thinking of all the things you need to get done, also take a moment to decide how you will take care of yourself today. What can you NOT do that you don’t want to do? What can you do that gives you energy, makes you shine brighter?
2) At the end of the day, as you are reflecting on your day, write down and acknowledge the ways you took care of yourself today and think about how good it felt, no matter how big or small. It could be as simple as not rushing today…Doing this exercise trains your unconscious brain to want you to do more of this.
3) When you decide to Not do the thing that you ‘should’, or you do the thing you ‘shouldn’t’, do it with volition, knowing you made that choice for a higher good for yourself.
